To make your self catering holiday packing simpler and safer we stock the kitchen cupboards at Galloway Cottage with washing up liquid, general kitchen cleaning products, tea towels, cloths, dusters, kitchen roll, foil, cling film, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk are also provided for your arrival.

The kitchen sink has views of the garden for those of you who prefer the traditional method of dealing with the dishes. If you are staying for an extended holiday at Galloway Cottage there is also a fully automatic washing machine to make your self catering break as relaxing as possible.

A dining area which seats four people transforms the kitchen area into a family meeting room where meals can be prepared and shared in a light, cottage style atmosphere. There is a large storage heater in this area.

The cottage’s back door leads from the kitchen into a small sheltered area with an occasional table and two chairs - idea for relaxing after a day exploring the Galloway countryside! There is also a retractable clothes line for bad weather use.  This covered area leads out to Galloway Cottage’s country garden where a barbecue and out door eating facilities are available for use during your self catering holiday in Gatehouse of Fleet.
